Job Summary

The Concierge / Front Desk Attendant is responsible for greeting members/guests, answering the telephone, answering inquires, taking reservations, directing calls, and providing exceptional service to Members. The Concierge will act as an extension of the Member Relations, Membership, and Private Event departments in obtaining prospective Member & Guest referrals.


Responsibilities

  • Answer telephones promptly and courteously, taking reservations, directing calls to appropriate areas and/or take messages and/or deliver messages as necessary.
  • Greet and direct Members and guests to proper area by name when possible.
  • Converse with Members and guests in an outgoing and friendly manner
  • Distribute reservation sheets for the appropriate meal period. Assure all preferences are accurately maintained for each Member properly communicated to service personnel.
  • Be knowledgeable of all items in the Club Receptionist manual and reference manual including but not limited to:
  • All club services, hours of operation, amenities, etc.
  • All technology features
  • Directions to and from the Club
  • Guest policies
  • Basic membership information including how to describe and define the club. If the Private Event Director is not available, arrange for another Employee Partner to tour the prospect.
  • Basic private event information including how to describe and define the club.
  • Club food concepts, dress code and ambiance.
  • All information in the club newsletter and on the website.
  • Has access to services outside the club i.e Local Hotels, Transportation, etc.) - (locate this by creating a form for each on the g/receptionist drive)
  • All corporate offerings and websites
  • All upcoming Member events, committees, etc.
  • Maintain Membership and Private Event information to hand out to potential Membership Prospects and Private Event inquiries. Notify Membership and private events when supplies run low.
  • Accommodate Member and guest requests for business services, including but not limited to faxing, copying, mailing and delivery services.
  • Suggest ways to provide magic moments to Members and guests.
  • Neat and legible handwriting
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Publisher, & PowerPoint)


Job Requirements

  • Computer skills required. Good communication skills are a must
  • Outgoing, friendly, and professional
  • High school diploma or equivalent
