Director of Tournament Sales 

Club Corp is lookingfor a sales professional to maximize tournament revenues to include sellinggolf outings of 16 or more golfers, tournament green fees, tournament cartfees, tournament food, and tournament beverage. This is accomplished throughnetworking, solicitations, grass roots sales, prospecting, and attaining orexceeding the annual budget revenue goals and booking goals for tournaments.

Primary Responsibilities:

Ø  Meet or exceed annual TournamentEvent revenue budget by following Sales Standards / Expectations and developingmarket segments and soliciting new customer relationships while maintainingexisting relationships.

Ø  The Tournament Sales Directorwill be an ambassador for the property and establishes a client base oforganizations, associations, social and corporate businesses through outsideand inside sales effort.

Ø  Responsible fordeveloping and executing a prospecting plan targeting corporate events,traveling leagues, charitable organizations and social events.

Ø  The role extends externallyfrom the club to trade shows and other public events and is also responsiblefor being a positive role model in both social media formats and public forumsby being active and showing consistent participation in all public facingopportunities.

Ø  Manages all salesactivities, prospect database and pipeline utilizing company CRM system andkeeps it updated daily.

Ø  Maintain communicationwith management by participating in the Weekly Sales Meeting and providingweekly and monthly status reports including PACE, Activity Reports, Task List,Pipeline and others as requested by management through CRM.

Ø  Work withCatering Teams to establish profitable and competitive tournament event menusthat meet the client's needs.

Ø  Ensure smooth executionof events by collaborating with appropriate department heads and TournamentChair.

Ø  Accurately forecastsindividual booking revenues and cancellations; accurately tracks consumption onall bookings.

Ø  Implement and supportall company initiatives and programs as requested by management.

Ø  Follows ClubCorp policiesand procedures and is able to effectively communicate them to subordinates.

JOB REQUIREMENTSTwo years commissioned sales experience preferred.  
Two Years of golf tournament sales experience          
College degree preferred
