JOB SUMMARY   

Director / Senior Director to lead the corporate financial planning and analysis team and serve as a financial partner to senior leadership of Invited’s corporate departments.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Lead a team (2) of direct reports, ensuring appropriate delegation with engagement in key activities.
  • Manage enterprise-wide, cross-functional budgeting and forecasting processes with strong project management and ability to drive meaningful results.
  • Communicate expectations to important stakeholders around key assumptions and timelines for critical enterprise-wide processes to ensure alignment and clarity of specific objectives supporting CFO and Leadership Team decision-making.
  • Establish credibility with leaders across the company and provide financial partnership with corporate functions to ensure results consistent with budget and projections.  Additionally, uses technical knowledge to challenge business plans and financial assumptions ensuring they are based on solid logic and principles.
  • Drive reporting efficiencies/improvements both internally and partner with shared finance center to create better visibility and align results with business drivers.
  • Continually pursue and develop technical knowledge to drive corporate functions to most-efficient results while continuing to move at the fast pace expected in our business
  • Benchmark with internal and external sources to identify performance improvements, strategic considerations, and provide talent development opportunities
  • Oversee the preparation of timely and accurate monthly/quarterly financial results presentations that provide important insights and participate in executive review meetings
  • Work with key stakeholders to prepare presentations for Board of Directors and senior leadership team.

LEADERSHIP QUALITIES 

  • A multi-faceted Director/Senior Director who is a leader, partner, and “doer”; will be comfortable operating in financial systems and spreadsheets, and equally comfortable leveraging his or her capabilities to work independently to conduct analysis, assemble an informed point-of-view, and communicate recommendations/conclusions with clarity and conviction
  • The candidate should be a brave, passionate and ambitious leader with orientation to business partnership and ability to handle difficult situations with a high-degree of diplomacy and composure; assist the business in achieving their strategic priorities through data-driven analytics

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS

Reports Directly to:  SVP Treasury, FP&A and Investor Relations                                                                                                

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in accounting and finance roles
  • 5+ years in a corporate FP&A function for mid-large company
  • Bachelor's degree in finance / accounting / economics or equivalent experience
  • MBA / CPA or other financial certifications strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of financial principles and practices
  • Highly proficient in MS office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access)
  • Highly proficient with Smart View / Hyperion Planning
  • Highly self-motivated and results driven
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills

General office.
