Tournament Sales Coordinator

The Tournament Sales Coordinator position is responsible for assisting the Director in achieving the Clubs annual sales plan for outside tournaments/outings through organized sales, prospecting and marketing programs. They work with Tournament Sales Director, Director of Golf, Head Pros and Director of Operations to establish profitable tournament/private event packages that meet the needs of large, closed-day events or small, non-peak time events.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with monitoring and reporting on Member and/or Member host satisfaction of tournaments/private events
  • Work with Golf Director to successfully plan and implement member golf events
  • Review Tournament/Private Event Sales Forecasts and upcoming prospecting focus, plus review of Prospect Inventory and Sales Booking Reports
  • Assist in designing and marketing Special Prospecting Projects to bring in more business and implements any other marketing programs increasing prospecting base
  • Participate in weekly sales/operations meeting with General Manager and Director of Golf to review client's wants/needs and overall operational flow of events plus distribute individual function sheets complete with function details as needed to ensure timely and accurate communication with other departments
  • Works closely with Membership Department in referring prospects for Membership and obtaining information on new Members and their needs
Job Requirements
  • Golf tournament sales experience
  • College degree preferred
