Server Lead - Banquets - (200879 )

Description

Assist in training and supervision of banquet service personnel to assure member and guest satisfaction

through proper food and beverage service and presentation. Maximize the club's profitability through

efficient execution of private parties and special member events. Execute Steps of Service and inspect

service skills of each EP. Ensure creative and professional room sets. Greet all Members / Clients and

execute a thorough recap of event for PED.

1. Works with Private Event Director, Service Director, Office Assistant, Chef (s)and GM on daily basis

with current and future events.

2. Assist in the execution of banquets, Ala Carte service, and special club promotions.

3. Conduct pre-event meetings with service team to ensure smooth, efficient service, assigns server

stations and coordinates the timing of courses with the kitchen personnel.

4. Ensures that all PE staff are well-groomed and in proper uniform (including name tag) before

clocking in.

5. Follows diagrams for buffet tables, guest table and other function room set-up needs for special

events. Creative and proper sets are executed.

6.Assists with inspection of all front and back of the house service areas and equipment to assure that

sanitation, safety, energy management, preventive maintenance and other standards for the department

are met.

7. Attends and participates in daily Line Up.

8. Participates in scheduled staff meetings.

9. Assists with development and implementation of on-going training for all service employees.

10. Meet and greet guest upon arrival and make contact with host of event.

11. Assist with training, supervision and evaluation of service staff.

12. Assures the presentation, cleanliness and safety of all Club areas.

13. Assumes opening or closing responsibilities when assigned.

14. Maintains Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner service time lines.

15. Maintains a positive attitude throughout shift to ensure the example is well taken by rest of team.

 

WORK EXPERIENCE

 3 - 5yrs experience in the food & beverage industry.

1 - 3yrs supervisory experience

 

EDUCATION

High School Diploma

Hospitality degree preferred, but not required

CERTIFICATION/LICENSE

Food Handlers Certificate, preferred

Star Certified

Serve Safe
