The Member RelationsCoordinator is responsible for coordinating club sponsored Member events inaddition to assisting Member Relations Director (MRD) with Membercommunications and the “Member Connect” at the Club.  This position works directly with the MemberRelations Director, the General Manager and other department heads to ensuretimely and appropriate communication utilizing tools that assist in the deliveryof the benefits and services promised at the time of enrollment.  The Member Relations Coordinator fostersrelationships and is instrumental in planning and coordinating Member Events,including special club traditions, weekly events, and “club within a club”events (e.g., Women’s Golf Association events).  He/she champions the marketing andcommunication for these Member events to develop relationships and encourageMembers to participate in events that enrich their lives.   


 1.    Work with department headsto identify, complete and implement one unified annual Club calendar of Memberevents in alignment with the needs and desires of Members and guests.  Updated quarterly and monthly calendarsproduced, as information becomes more relevant and detailed, Events shoulddrive usage and retention.

2.   Assist the Member Relations Director in thecreation, coordination and execution of Member events at the club.  This will entail working some evenings andweekends.

3.  Responsible for Member communication suchas, but not limited to Weekly e-blasts,website updates, monthly newsletters, both electronic and printed, statementstuffers, digital displays, 3D displays, fliers, cart signs, posters, lettersand postcards sent to Members and any other Member communication tool.

4. Assist with implementing the“Member Connect” plan in order to increase Member retention.  (The “Member Connect” plan has been createdto provide new Members with a personalized and consistent introduction to theClub, other Members, Employee Partners, Member Events, products, business andsocial programming/services.

5.  Partner with the MembershipTeam on New Member Orientations and New Member “Welcome” Receptions.  Assist with coordinating the Member Connectprocess and ensure proper execution by applicable department heads throughsteps designed by the MRD.  

6. Attend various Membercommittees as designated by the MRD. Committee work could include Entertainment Committee,Family Committee, Ladies’ Night Out Committee or other committees developed bythe club.

7.  Act as a liaison betweenClub within the Club groups and the Club. Work together to determine dates, times and specific needs for eachgroup’s function and input detailed information into Club Cater far enough inadvance for ample notification for Department Heads, specifically the F&BDirector and Executive Chef.

8. Work with Club’s food &beverage department to create, maintain Banquet Event Orders and event filesfor each Member event, tradition and other promotions to include but notlimited to entertainment contracts, P&L forecasts, and event floorplans.  Attend events and functions tofacilitate warm welcomes at registration as well as ensure proper execution ofevents.

Job Requirements

  • Prefer experience in one or more of the following: marketing, hospitality, sales, relationship management, food & beverage operations, customer service, membership associations and/or fundraising
  • Experience in leading a team or project to a successful outcome is preferred
  • Undergraduate degree preferred
  • Educational concentration in business, communications, journalism, public relations, hospitality management or recreation
