Description Member Retention Specialist 

To create awareness for resigning members with their alternative options.  Increase retention and reduce attrition by implementing a win-back strategy.  Create a fond farewell for all members resigning from ClubCorp.

  • Make personal contact with all resigning members
  • Identify and uncover top reasons why members are resigning.  Communicate with field          those reasons to assist with bettering the experience at the club
  • Create awareness for resigning members by giving them alternative options to stay in the ClubCorp family
  • Understand and re-enroll members who choose an alternative option to stay a Member
  • Ensure each resigning member receives a fond-farewell
  • Manage and measure weekly results through appropriate tracking and reporting.  Communicate weekly results to team.
  • Develop a system, to insure on-going contact with former members through a marketing/awareness campaign
  • Follow all ClubCorp policies and procedures
  • Adhere to all of the various written mandatory standards of operations, policies and procedures, manuals, memos, oral instruction, etc., all of which go to make up the essential functions of the job.
  • All service administered to Club Members/Clients and guests consistent with ClubCorp STAR Service

  • Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
  • Familiar with CRM systems and follow up practices
  • Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of personalities
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
  • Problem solving skills
  • Proven track record of hospitality, membership, or private event sales success, with proven results exceeding sales goals and objectives.
  • Track record of over-achieving call quota
  • Sale experience a plus
  • Ability to be resourceful, creative and maintain flexibility
  • Effective use of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and ClubCorp technologies
  • Complete integrity and drive to succeed are essential
