The Banquet Server is responsible for providing food and beverage STAR Service to Members/Guests ensuring satisfaction. Maintain service standards as outlined in the Hospitality First training program at high standards. Assist fellow Employee Partners, Members and guests to ensure delivery of the 3 steps of service without being directed. Be aware of team members and the environment and participate as a member of the team.
Regular duties include setting up tables and chairs and laying out table clothes and place settings per diagram. Setting up a beverage station or buffet, serving plates of food to guests and removing plates as the courses finish. Refilling water glasses and replenish the utensils and napkins as necessary. After the guests leave, the banquet staff collect used linens, glasses, dishes and cutlery and reset the room for the next event. Must be able to lifts heavy trays while working in a timely manner.
