Vice President of Membership Sales - Tampa, FL

The Vice President of Membership and Sales (VPMS) is responsible and accountable for the growth of Revenue in the areas of Membership, Private Events and a la Carte Sales in all assigned Clubs. He/she is also responsible for driving growth and improvement in the overall usage of the Clubs by, and the retention of all Members. 


Partnering with each respective Regional Manager, RVP of Operations and Field Specialists, the VPMS should help in the recruitment, selection, training and motivation of each assigned Clubs Membership, Private Event and Member Relations Directors. As well, each VPMS should seek to partner with their colleagues to create an efficient and productive team environment of interaction and collaboration.


In addition to the broad responsibilities above, the VPMS must keep a strong focus on driving revenue disciplines without sacrificing Member experience and while keeping the Members interests a high priority. The VPMS must ensure that all National offerings and initiatives improve revenues and profitability.


The VPMS will assist in facilitating best practice sharing and communication to all sales disciplines and will serve as a consultant and a resource when needed for the individual Clubs.



Job Qualifications

  • It is necessary that each Employee Partner perform a multitude of different functions
  • Coordinate Field Specialists to maximize the sales efforts, as well as, the hiring, training and development of our sales personnel in the assigned Clubs
  • Work with assigned Regional Managers and or RVPs of Operations to ensure the Sales Management function is efficient and effective.
  • Assist in the development and approval of all programs that deviate from the normal pricing strategies and pricing practices
  • Provide recognition to inspire continual improvement of sales personnel in each sales discipline
  • Accountable for driving an increase in revenues and improvement in Member retention goals for each assigned club
  • Organize and facilitate sales meetings or weekly sales calls where necessary to improve sales performance per each sales discipline
  • Be a resource and sounding board to colleagues and senior leaders within the organization
